Global AI in Food & Beverage Market 2019-2024 to Grow at 65.3% CAGR

A new report published on Research and Markets projects that the global AI in Food & Beverages market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 65.3 percent from 2019 to 2024. An excerpt from the report description identifies some key trends:

AI is being applied to understand the consumer behavior, which is expected to lead to more accurate predictions. It can further enable marketers and organizations to reach out to the customers at a personal level, engage in deeper interactions, and enhance their overall experience with the brand.

Furthermore, many consumers are adopting chabots, as they can effectively work on the offline mode. An American express report stated that more than 50% of the customers are willing to spend more in the companies that provide superior customer service. This opens up a tremendous opportunity for AI, which, in turn, is likely to fuel the growth of AI in the food and beverage sector.

AI can also help to analyze, monitor, and deduce the customer behavior and sentiments across the various social media channels. Therefore, when AI builds an in-depth customer profile, it matches it to their social experiences about the product. With the help of such powerful insights, firms can now aim to improve the customer experience and make it more productive, thereby leading to the growth of the market.

Nvidia Builds on DRIVE AV Autonomous Vehicle Software with Safety Force Field, Cisco Announces Cognitive Collaboration for Webex Platform and Carl Data Solutions Signs MOU for AI Water Monitoring
Stocks discussed: (NasdaqGS:NVDA) (NasdaqGS:CSCO) (CSE:CRL)

NVIDIA Corporation (NasdaqGS:NVDA) has built on its NVIDIA DRIVE AV autonomous vehicle software with a new planning and control layer called the Safety Force Field (SFF). Utilizing sensor data, SFF analyzes the environment to calculate actions “necessary to mitigate potential danger”. David Nister, vice president of Autonomous Driving Software at NVIDIA, said:

“By removing human error from the driving equation, we can prevent the vast majority of collisions and minimize the impact of those that do occur. SFF is mathematically designed such that autonomous vehicles equipped with SFF will, like magnets that repel each other, keep themselves out of harm’s way and not contribute to unsafe situations.”

Cisco Systems, Inc. (NasdaqGS:CSCO) has announced the Cognitive Collaboration feature for its online conferencing platform Webex. Cognitive Collaboration leverages AI and machine learning technology such as facial recognition to streamline the conferencing experience. Amy Chang, SVP and GM, Collaboration Technology Group, Cisco, commented:

"Cognitive Collaboration is a game changer for Cisco customers across all industries. When we enable people to collaborate from wherever they are in a way that's intuitive, easy and smart, we make their work and life experiences better and more productive."

Carl Data Solutions, Inc. (CSE:CRL) and their wholly-owned subsidiary Astra Smart Systems have signed an MOU with the conservationist Living Lakes Canada “to build and deploy an end-to-end IIoT solution for advanced AI water monitoring”. The project aims to use AI and IIoT to bridge gaps in environmental data. Greg Johnston, Carl Data CEO and President, said:

"This project highlights the key importance of data collection. Access to data, and the tools to extract actionable information from that data, are how we can protect environmental assets and critical infrastructure from potential impacts caused by changing environmental conditions."
