A recent piece in Fortune shows that jobs in the AI market are on the rise, with China and the U.S. being the biggest employers. The article cites a study from software company UiPath:
Software company UiPath took a look at the job offerings in A.I. worldwide, scanning through 30,000 job listings from 15 industry-leading countries. Including all titles-from software engineer and intelligence researcher to sales engineer and product manager-UiPath found China and the U.S. are leading the way in total number of jobs.
According to the data, China leads with 12,000 job listings, while the U.S. has 7,000. The piece argues that the wide range of different sectors encompassed in the AI market is a key driver of growth and cites a PricewaterhouseCoopers study that shows that AI could add $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030.
